THE LAST WINE PRESS.
A traditional and historic winery, completely underground, 15 meters deep, located in the Bodegas Antiguas neighborhood of Fuensaldaña (Valladolid).
Eme Bodegas was founded in the 17th century and became part of the family heritage 50 years ago after its restoration and renovation.
A winery renowned for its excellent rosé, or more commonly known as claret, which reaches its greatest splendour thanks to Argimiro, my grandfather Emilio and my father, Emilio too.
In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, after much thought, I decided to launch this project: to revive the winery's commercial activity and showcase this heritage as it deserves.
After the major renovation, the winery continued to operate, albeit solely for family use. We also restored our vineyards, some of them centuries old and planted with Tempranillo and Garnacha varieties, to full use.
Eme Bodegas isn't just a business project; it's a reflection of years of hard work and dedication. It's the successor to my family's efforts, and the dream of continuing a passion—a traditional and artisanal one.
